While local and national courses are usually sufficient to gain a basic understanding of firearm safety, they are often offered in a PowerPoint heavy format and in a group environment that offers very limited individual coaching.

FCC Fundamentals courses provide gun safety classes for beginners that meet the knowledge needs of our students, while also delivering live fire coaching that will ingrain the fundamentals to have you performing at a high level in just one class.

 When it comes to your family, we know safety is your #1 priority. While you likely own a firearm with the intent of keeping your family safe, it is imperative that you and your loved ones understand and mitigate the inherent risks in having a firearm in the home. We encourage families to take our fundamentals courses and tailor the delivery to meet the needs of your individual situation. 

According to a 2023 CDC Study, an average of 70 children ages 0-17 are killed each year in America due to firearm accidents. These accidents are entirely preventable, and it's our responsibility as parents and gun owners to ensure we maintain gun safety in our households, and educate our children on gun safety.

While we will not be conducting children's gun safety classes by putting a glock in the hands of your toddler to perfect their grip, sight picture, and trigger pull, there are a multitude of ways to enhance gun safety for children through education and prevention. For students who have children, we tailor our fundamentals courses to perform a deep dive on what parents can do to ensure their families safety.

For those families with older children looking for children's gun safety classes, FCC will provide family friendly instruction and dry/live fire training suitable for the individual ability and maturity level of the students.

FCC Defensive Carry Pistol and Firearm Home Defense courses provide individualized coaching to pistol shooters who've mastered the basics and are ready for advanced training to improve speed and accuracy as it relates to defensive shooting in a variety of conditions.
